We value attitude, ownership, and a sense of autonomy over specific prior experience in release management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated, adaptable, and eager to take on new challenges.

Your focus will be on improving our release methodology, coordinating and managing releases in collaboration with the product team, and effectively communicating changes to our sales and marketing teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation channels and working closely with the engineering and QA teams to ensure the smooth execution of releases.

Your responsibilities

  • Improve our release methodology by implementing best practices and identifying areas for optimization.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage releases in collaboration with the product team, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality software and firmware releases.
  • Communicate changes and updates to our sales and marketing teams, providing them with the necessary information to effectively promote and support the new releases.
  • Ensure that all documentation channels, including release notes, user guides, and technical documentation, are kept up-to-date and accessible.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and QA teams to coordinate and manage the successful release of software products.
  • Identify and resolve any release-related issues or bottlenecks, working with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to release management and agile methodologies.

Your skillset

As a Release Manager, you:

  • Possess a can-do attitude, taking ownership of tasks and demonstrating a strong sense of autonomy.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both written and oral, enabling you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and ensure clear documentation.
  • Possess a passion for learning and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Can showcase familiarity with agile methodology and an understanding of working in agile development environments.

Finally:

  • Some exposure to DevOps processes and tools is beneficial, enabling you to streamline and automate the release process.
  • Knowledge about Agile Release Trains is a plus, as it will help in coordinating and aligning releases across multiple product teams.
  • Additional knowledge about hardware and firmware development is a plus, as it will allow you to better understand the complexities of our products and their release requirements.
  • Familiarity with Digital Adoption Platforms (DAPs) is a plus, as it will facilitate user onboarding and adoption of our software products, enhancing the overall customer experience.
